The Jim Thorpe Area Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit corporation.
The purpose of this organization is to recognize outstanding athletic achievements contributing to the sports history of the Jim Thorpe Area.
The Jim Thorpe Area is defined as the town of Jim Thorpe and those surrounding communities within the confines of the Jim Thorpe Area School District including Lake Harmony, Kidder Township, Penn Forest, and Albrightsville.
